名詞 account は「勘定」、consideration は「考慮」の意味です。だから take A into 勘定・考慮で 「Ａを勘定に入れる」 とか 「Ａを考慮に入れる」 となります。account についてはここを参照してください。

名詞 account を目的語にして take account とすると「勘定する＝考慮する」、of は「関連の of」で about と同じ「～について」の意味です。だから take account of A で 「Ａのことについて考慮する」 の意味になります。一方、take no account になると「勘定しない」とか「無視する」の意味になります。

In judging his work, we must make allowances for his lack of experience.
allow は 「許す」 から 「酌量（しゃくりょう）する」 とか 「手加減する」 と意味が広がります。どんな理由で手加減するのかを表現しているのが「理由・原因の for」です。動詞 allow を名詞化して make allowance としても、全く同じ「酌量する・手加減する」の意味になります。
