Let me explain the fifty-sixth Kanji character of the 80s for beginners, 「口」.
「口」＝mouth
on – yomi「コウ」
kun – yomi「くち」

⊿口をそろえて言う（くちをそろえていう）＝ say in chorus that～
９０才以上の老人に「人生で一番後悔していることは？」と尋ねると、ほとんどの人が口をそろえて「もっと冒険をしておけば良かった」と答える。

I asked a question of old people over 90 years of age about what was the biggest regret of your life. And they said in chorus that they should have been more adventurous.

◇９０才（きゅうじゅっさい）以上（いじょう）の老人＝ old people over 90 years of age
◇一生（いっしょう）で＝ of one’s life
◇後悔（こうかい）する＝ regret
◇冒険（ぼうけん）する＝ take a risk [or chance], choose a slippery slope

＊”they should have chosen a slippery slope rather than a wide and safe road”にしても良かったかも。ちょっと意味が違うけど、聖書にも「狭き門より入れ,滅びに至る門は大きくその道は広い」と書いてあるよね。

The Bible says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction.”
