答案
Fossil fuels such as oil and gas are the world’s main source energy.  Nevertheless, the advances of alternative fuel sources, and pressure to reduce carbon emissions means the use of fossil fuels will decrease.  I think the Japanese Government should promote to use the alternative energy.  Here is Japan, geothermal power sources are especially promising.  We shouldn’t depend on technology as the only solution.  From now on, let’s turn off the lights.  Let’s use bicycles when possible.  Let’s take the stairs instead of the elevator.  There are a lot of things we have to do to stop depending on fossil fuels.  It’s essential that we reduce the burning of fossil fuels.  The sooner, the better!

化石燃料って、「枯渇するぞ～」と言われ続けてずいぶん経ちますが、なかなかなくりません。石油や天然ガスには大きな利権が絡んでいて、利権に絡む子たちが自分に都合の良いことを言ってるみたいで、あまり信用しない方が良いのかも知れません。原発があんな風だから、僕らはこれからも化石燃料に頼らざるをえないでしょう。代替エネルギーでは賄いきれませんからね。それよりも、岩間君の言うように、膨らんだエネルギー需要を減らすのが一番効果的な方法です。車を捨てて自転車に乗り、エレベータじゃなくて階段を使うと、健康にも良さそうですからね（薮下にはできそうもありませんが）。
