Ｆさん！こりゃ参りましたね。「キャリア開発に否定的な意見」というお題はちょっと難しいかな、と思っていたのですが、視点をうまく「他力本願」と「自主独立」の対立に向けました！他人に自分の人生を決めてもらってると、何かあったら全部他人のせいにしてしまいますからね！論理展開もちゃんと「抽象」から「具体」へと向かってます。新型肺炎に結びつけてるのも見事です。これで次回はやっと音読・書き取りです！お待たせしました。

■キャリア開発に否定的な意見
私は一人一人がもっと積極的にキャリア開発に取り組むべきだと思います。それを政府や企業に任せておくのはとても危険です。なぜなら、私たちは人生で１度は転職を経験するようになるからです。今までは終身雇用が保証されていて定年まで１つの会社で働けばよかったので、企業が私たちのキャリアを準備するのが当たり前でした。でも、これからは終身雇用の保証はなくなり、定年も７０歳になります。その上、企業の寿命が永遠でないことが今回のコロナウィルス騒ぎでよく分かります。必然的に私たちは同じ会社に定年まで勤めることはなくなり、転職が当たり前になります。だから、私たちは自分の人生を政府や企業任せにせずに、自分で考えることが大切だと思います。

Each of us should actively move on with career development. It’s dangerous to leave it up to the government and companies.  Because we will have to experience career changes more than once in our lives.  Up to now we could rely on lifetime employment and work for a single company. So the company developed employees careers. But from now on, lifetime employment will not be guaranteed, and retirement age will be extended to seventy years of age.  And what is more, we’ve learned from all of the trouble over the coronavirus that companies can quickly go out of business if something comes up. As a matter of course we will not work for a single company until the retirement age, and making a career change will be natural.  Therefore we should not leave career development to the government or companies and create our own destiny.
