What do you think about WTO international system after reading these passages?  What advantages and disadvantages does the WTO system have? Discuss.

I think we humans should be more careful about the WTO international system because the disadvantages like trade friction are so serious.  This problem is not only between two countries but this will lead to international finance friction gradually.  Of course there are advantages like fair labor conditions and imports of cheap products.  However, if we aren’t careful enough to promote the WTO international system, it may cause serious disasters like the great depression that happened in the world in 1929.

両方とも「注意を払う」なのに、上はcarefulではなくてcautiousじゃないといけません。どうしてかと言うとこの２つにはこんな違いがあるからです。
careful＝ミスをしないように自分の行動に注意を払う
cautious＝危険や問題を避けるために注意を払うこと

上の「注意を払う」は、そうしないと貿易摩擦の危険があるので、それを避けるため、下の「注意を払う」は僕らがＷＴＯの国際システムを推進するのをミスしないようにするためです。だから上はcarefulじゃなくてcautiousじゃないといけないわけです。さて、榊君の答案にはもう１つ、僕ら日本人がよくやる間違いがあったのですが、それは次回のお楽しみです。
