＊不可算名詞の嘉多を比較する場合に、more＋名詞、less＋名詞を使って表現できる。
■私にとって愛はお金よりも大切である。
For me, love has more importance than money.（←Love has much importance.）
■私にとってお金は愛ほど大切ではない。
For me, money has less importance than love.←（Money has little importance.）
普通はnot as[so]～asで表現する。
For me, money does not have as [so] much importance as money.

＊形容詞、副詞の程度を比較する場合にも、more＋形・副、less＋形・副で表現できる。
■この車はあれよりも値段が高い。
This car is more expensive than that one.
■あの車はこれよりも値段が安い。
That car is less expensive than this one.
米語では普通、較級・最上級をmore、mostで表現するものに使う。これも普通はnot as [so]～asで表現する。

That car is not as [so] expensive as this one.
