所有格の表し方には２通りあります。
■その川の名前
the river‘s name（’s）
the name of the river（所有格のof）

A of Bの用法の中に「Ｂの持つＡ」の意味を持つ「所有格のof」がありましたね。忘れた子はルール１６を見直しておいてください。こんなやつです。
◇労働者の持つ権利
the right of the workers
◇その家の屋根
the roof of the house

人の場合には「Ｂの持つＡ」で良いのですが、モノの場合は「Ｂに所属するＡ」とか、簡単に「ＢのＡ」となりましたね。所有格の表し方が２通りあるので、次の例文も２通り書けます。
■僕は名前を忘れてしまったのですが、大きな川が名古屋市を流れています。
A broad river runs through Nagoya.－言いたい文
I have forgotten the river’s name.－飾りの文①
I have forgotten the name of the river.－飾りの文②

飾りの先頭に★を飛ばして、飾られる名詞riverの直後に飾りをはめ込むのですが、ここでちょっと注意が必要です。まず、①ではwhichに所有格がないことです。仕方がないので「人はwho」から所有格whoseを借りてきます。
主格　　he－who－which
所有格　his－whose→whose
目的格　him－whom－which

そして、river’sとnameは切り離せません。＜the river’s name＞でセットです。だからwhose nameが★になります。これを飾りの先頭に出します。こんな具合です。
whose name I have forgotten

■僕は名前を忘れてしまったのですが、大きな川が名古屋市を流れています。
A broad river  ＾ runs through Nagoya.－言いたい文
★I have forgotten <the river’s name>.－飾りの文①

次に②ですが、A of Bの結びつきもとても強力で＜the name of the river＞がセットになります。だからthe name of whichが★になります。これを飾りの先頭に出します。こんな具合です。
the name of which I have forgotten
■僕は名前を忘れてしまったのですが、大きな川が名古屋市を流れています。
A broad river ＾ runs through Nagoya.－言いたい文
★I have forgotten <the name of the river>.－飾りの文②

■僕は内容がジャズをあつかった本を読んでいます。

　　　the subject of which
→I am reading a book whose subject is jazz.

■僕は図書館から昨日借りてきた本を読んでいます。

★I borrowed <it> from the library yesterday.－飾りの文
